At a very early age I took art classes at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum in Hartford. I have been painting ever since. I intend my paintings to convey the sense of a place and reveal the drama of life. I would like people to think of the stories behind my images and discover what is special about these scenes. For a while I became impatient with oils and developed a special mixed media technique, involving inks and oil pastels, which produce the vivid colors in many of my works. I just recently resumed working with oils and find that with oils I can strike different visual chords.

My paintings are in collections in the US, Australia, and Europe. I have had several solo shows in New York and in Connecticut and have earned numerous awards in group shows. I am also happy and proud to say that my commissions have captured memories for many.
