Therapeutic Art Program
for Older Adults

Come join us to learn how to create landscapes based on the “emotional content” for personal and genuine response to a scene. TVOA's Artist-in-Residence, Hannah Jung, professional artist/educator, will guide students to create atmospheric landscapes using photo references as inspirational resources.

No experience is required. All levels are welcome. Students will leave this class with a finished piece and ready to experiment more on their own. Students will be pointed toward meaningful, personal, artistic growth.

Instruction fees will be covered by the grant from the American Savings Foundation.

Art Supply fee of $50 per participant required. TVOA will supply all materials.

Qualification: Senior residents (age 65 or older) of these 64 CT Towns served by American Savings Foundation.

If you are not qualified for the grant, you may still join the class with a total tuition fee of $150 including art supplies. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Location: Youth Ministry Building, First Congregational Church of Litchfield (21 Torrington Rd., Litchfield)

Total five sessions (Tuesdays, 2:30-4:30pm): April 25, May 2,9,16 & 23.

Participants: up to 7 seniors per class, on a first-come, first-served basis.
