The Voice of Art is inviting emerging and mid-career artists to our entry call for “Two/Three-Person Exhibition 2021-2022” at the Virtual Gallery and select Venues.  TVOA seeks artists whose works that share personal meaning or interpretation of any ideas or themes as a body of artwork, bringing their discoveries into light through their artistic sensibilities.  Selected artists will be invited to one of Two or Three-Person show series, for a six-week duration, between Nov. 2021 and Aug. 2022.

TVOA nurtures expanded viewership in the current art market through our 3D walk-through virtual gallery and business community venues around the state.  TVOA is committed to enhancing viewers’ immediate experiences with our artists’ artwork in these unique, practical marketplaces.  With DOUBLED visibility and accessibility, our artists’ original artworks can reach a new potential clientele. 

Up to Ten 2-D artwork in ANY medium, style, and subject matter will be considered by TVOA Jury.  

The entries MUST be submitted in digital format via email.

APPLICATION FEE: 

  •  Members: $10; once accepted, $10 per work will be charged from the third work, up to 10 works for the show.

  •  Non-Members: $25; once accepted, $10 per work will be charged from the third work, up to 10 works.

PORTFOLIO SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Midnight (EST), Monday, Oct. 11, 2021
EMAIL NOTIFICATION: Friday, Oct. 15, 2021

ELIGIBILITY: Artists must be 18 years of age to submit artwork for consideration by TVOA.  Maximum frame size should be no longer than 50” in either direction.  Must be wired and ready for hanging.

VIRTUAL & VENUE Exhibition: Each show will be run for a six-week duration (TBA).

Once the submitted portfolio is accepted, the artist may submit substitute work for the actual Virtual & Venue Exhibitions upon approval (within the same category of style and medium).   ALL accepted artwork will be automatically reviewed for the venue exhibitions.  However, the final selections for the venue shows will be determined at the discretion of the venue administration.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  1. ENTRY FORM:  Email attachment with image files

  2. Other Attachments: CV / Resume and short Artist Statement or Bio (DOC format only)

  3. PORTFOLIO SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:  

  • All work must be submitted in digital jpg format via email to: TheVoiceofArtOrg@gmail.com

  • Submit up to 10 images of work (72 dpi, 500kb - 1MB each) executed after Jan. 2017.  Artwork and digital photo images must not include any borders or frames unless they are part of the original artwork.

  • Name your files accordingly: (Artist’s LAST NAME)_(Number)_(Title).jpg  (i.e. Smith_1_Lilies)

  • In the Subject Line of your email:  “Two/Three-Person Exhibition 2021-2: YOUR NAME”

 

PAYMENT:

  • Due: Midnight (EST), Monday, Oct. 11, 2021

  • Please note that any submission without the Entry Fee won’t be considered reviewing the artwork.

Terms & Regulations:

SALES:  Submitted (Final) artwork should be available for sales unless specifically permitted.  THE VOICE OF ART will retain a 35% commission for works sold during the exhibition.  Sold works in venues will remain in the exhibition until the end of the exhibition.  In the event of an artwork sells, TVOA will handle the payment process with the buyer.  Artists will be paid no later than 30 days after the close of the exhibition.

LIABILITY: Neither THE VOICE OF ART nor any participating venues is responsible for loss or damage to any Artwork before, during, and after the exhibition.  All accepted artists will be required to fill out the form, Hold Harmless Agreement provided by TVOA.  Artwork will be handled with all possible care.  We recommend that artists should carry their own insurance.

ARTIST'S CONSENT:  By submitting your work to this exhibition, all artists agree to allow reproductions of their digital files and/or photographs taken of their art for any educational, marketing, archival, publicity and public relations purposes by THE VOICE OF ART management.

RESTRICTIONS:  By submitting your artwork, you acknowledge that you are at least 18 years of age and the original creator of the artwork.  You may NOT submit any artwork that is currently under exclusive representation agreement or contract by any other gallery or entity.

IMAGE CONTENT:  THE VOICE OF ART VIRTUAL GALLERY is open to visitors of all ages.  As such, we ask that submitted artwork be suitable for viewing by all ages.  Fine art implied nude artwork will be subject to review and approval. Fine art nude artwork cannot be accepted for THE VOICE OF ART contests or exhibits.  It is not our intention to censure any artwork but THE VOICE OF ART management reserves the right to determine suitability of any artwork submitted.  We ask artists to respect this limitation regarding image content.
