About the Artist
Folkloric is an ethereal jewelry collection handcrafted by maker Elena Carey. Pieces in the collection are inspired by mythology, folklore, antiquity. Elena combines ephemera, resin, metals, cord, pearls, semi-precious stones, and vintage elements to create jewelry that is timeless and unique. By working with paper she is able to translate imagery from an infinite number of sources into wearable art.
