THE VOICE OF ART provides year-round studio art classes for amateur/professional artists' professional development and community's continuing education.
Our classes are small with an emphasis on individual development in visual art techniques.
Artists' Club Critiques
Every Thursday, 2-4 pm, 4 sessions
We offer a constructive critique class for amateur and professional artists. Sign up and bring your projects in progress or completed. Director & Artist-in-residence, Hannah Jung, will encourage participants to share their ideas and will provide constructive criticism for professional development.

Painting
Begins on Tues. Jan. 29 (6-8 pm), 4 sessions
This four-week course is an introduction to painting that emphasizes color mixing, painting techniques, and composition. The purpose of the course is to promote sensitivity to color interaction, advance technical and compositional skills and provide a basis for creative growth and expression.

Hands & Feet

Begins on Thursday Jan. 24 (1-3pm); 4 sessions
Learn how to draw hands and feet in pencils and charcoals by analyzing forms, capturing a feeling of light, and expressing emotions through the gestural compositions. Explore the beauty of the human form in this advanced course!

Portrait Drawing
Begins on Tuesday, Jan. 22 (1-3 pm); 4 sessions
This four-week course provides a comprehensive introduction to the art of portrait drawing. The coursework follows a sequence of studies that introduces basic drawing techniques to achieve your goals through observation and analysis of the human head.
